This is BPG Custom Designs. My place. My heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears. I’m so happy you stopped by to look around. This place is filled with years of mistakes and lessons - as well as some of my proudest accomplishments.
My name is Jennifer Maier and I am the self taught maker behind BPG Custom Designs. It is within my personal maker-space where I found joy in creating custom designs and meaningful pieces for your business, for your family, and for your home. My goal is to create timeless pieces that are built to last. If you run a business, then I couldn’t be a better partner to help create some statement pieces to complement the brand that you’re working so hard to build. I know small business. We are in this together.
If you look at a map of Illinois, you will find BPG’s home is located in Lockport, a small, suburban town, about 35 minutes Southwest of Chicago. My current workspace is my two car garage, a spare bedroom, the basement and sometimes the kitchen. I take all of my own photos with my amateur photography skills…mostly from my backyard, or, during the cooler months, I’ll use whatever indoor props I can find along with the best natural lighting that a midwest winter has to offer.
I built BPG Custom Designs, LLC, alongside my husband, Andrew. He is my biggest supporter and always willing to expand our business with new and updated power tools and equipment. I couldn’t ask for a better partner to build a home, a family, and a business with. I balance being a “maker” with carpooling my two teenage daughters to their sports, activities, and their get-togethers with friends. Both of my daughters play travel sports, so on the days that I’m not home ‘making’ - you’ll find me cheering on my girls on the sidelines of a basketball or volleyball court.
Fueled by my passion to build the life I want, I’ve never regretted chasing this dream and following my arrow to a life that lets me enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you so much for stopping by! My family and I appreciate you.
